Artist's Comments
I chose Yue and Yukito from the series Cardcaptor Sakura. The reason is both a play on Yukito's original name, the fact that Yue is guardian of the powers of the Moon, and the fact that Yukito is the vessel in essence an illusion to the true form who is Yue.
I decided to do a half day and night middle ground to display the illusion properly. I tried to get the whole thing exactly in the middle, but it was harder to do than what it looks. (c) Yue and Yukito belong to the creators of Cardcaptor Sakura |
